The Turkish Innovation Week, which has been organized by the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TİM) since 2012 under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade, opened its doors on May 3-4, 2019 at the Istanbul Congress Center.
The event reached its highest number of participants so far with the participation of 40 thousand people this year. The official opening was attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an.
The event has experience areas, conferences, workshops and exhibitions focusing on innovation which brought the International professionals, industrialists, academics and experts together.
The discussion panels of the event mainly focused on innovation in Turkey and contribution on e-exports. The topics are "Defense Industry: The Multiplying Effect in Technology", "Life Enhancing Innovation", "Innovation and Future in Turkey", "From Digital to Production Transformation: New Horizons in the Industry", "New Route of Exports: Price to Information Competition" and "Innovation in Finance: Fintech and Blockchain Technologies".

This year, at Turkey Innovation Week, Turkish distinguished enterprises and leaders in innovation were awarded in different categories for their achievements and global expansion of Turkish technology and innovation.
"World E-Commerce Forum" which is an international organization that contributes to Turkey's production power and capacity via enhancing e-exports, has been held in accordance with the event as well.
The Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TİM) is the major export organization in Turkey, which represents 61 Exporter Associations, 27 exporter sectors, and 85,000 exporters that carry on business in the regional and sectoral base at both national and international levels.
