Argentine Economy Minister Sergio Massa said in May 22, that the country has taken out a total of $130 million in loans from two development banks to help small businesses expand their use of digital technologies.
The loans from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) will help small businesses to "bridge" the technological gap, including training workers. The program supported by the loans will allow small businesses to access low-interest credit from banks for investing in technology, including machinery, equipment and cybersecurity systems.
