Indonesia: Ministry boosts entrepreneur ratio via Entrepreneur Hub Jakarta

  • The Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Ministry has organized the Entrepreneur Hub Jakarta program to expedite the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020–2024 and boost the entrepreneur ratio. Entrepreneur Hub Jakarta is a part of the 2023 Entrepreneur Hub program, which has currently become the ministry's priority program for developing national entrepreneurs. The main goal of the program is to develop an entrepreneurship ecosystem.

    The program will be held over three months and involve curation from stakeholders and the selection of 100 businesspersons that have the potential to be developed to become bigger. Moreover, under the “meet the investor” agenda, Entrepreneur Hub participants will also get to meet with investors and make a pitch to them with the goal of achieving financing support and long-term investment.
