  • AlphaCredit, a non-bank financial institution headquartered in Mexico City, has made significant contributions to the country's financial technology sector. Alpha Credit has two main lines of business, and technology is one of the most important pillars of its development: consumer loans in Mexico and Colombia, including: 1) loans from Mexican and Colombian government employees, and 2) loans from Mexican retirees and retirees, and 3) 100% digital credit for independent professionals and private employees; SME financing solutions: 1) Factoring 2) Leasing and 3) Digitalized working capital loans.

In Mexico, 99% of the country's economic units are small and medium-sized enterprises, that is, more than 4.5 million companies. However, despite their impact on the national economy, an estimated 75% of Mexican SMEs failed in the first two years of their establishment, largely due to a lack of financing. To solve this problem, Fintech AlphaCredit launched Bontu, a flexible SME working capital loan that is centrally applied through a digital platform, with no mandatory repayment period, or a fixed repayment, which is a percentage of the company's revenue. The amount of credit and payment is calculated based on the company's sales, so if the income is variable, the amount is adapted to the profit, and if the business grows, the acquisition of funds is also increased. In addition, employers can make additional payments at any time without penalty or additional charges, which are designed to break the current traditional credit plan. The request can be executed from any mobile device in a fully digital manner within a few minutes.
