Ms. Ester Cañada Amela, EU delegate from EU SME Center, talked about the development model of EU SMEs in China. The EU SME Center was launched in 2010 to support SMEs from the EU to enter into the Chinese market, mainly through two ways: export or establish branches in China. It provides very practical services for EU SMEs in China by setting up a consulting center and training center, regularly organizing seminars and training courses, and establishing a platform for SMEs. She mentioned various challenges confronted by EU companies in China, including protectionism in financing, administrative burden, delayed payment, protection of intellectual property rights.
