  • The governments dispatched staff to provide “grassroot-level” support.

On February 28th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology sent liaison officers to some key provinces and cities to help solve existing problems in the resumption of work and production, especially those that need to be addressed across departments and regions. The Zhejiang government has dispatched 1,794 resident staff, serving 11,000 enterprises, collecting about 4,200 problems, and solving more than 3,700 of those. At the same time, financial instructors dispatched by financial institutions also provide suggestions and advice for SMEs to get easier access to finance. The Ministry of Science and Technology organized science and technology personnel to provide enterprises, especially SMEs, with assistance and solution in technology.

Set up sharing and service platform for advanced technology achievements.

The Ministry of Science and Technology will further strengthen the establishment of “Anti-epidemic Science and Technology— sharing and service platform for advanced scientific and technological achievements”. The first batch of 283 new technologies and products for epidemic prevention and control recommended by local authorities have been released, covering major areas of COVID-19 prevention and control.

Provide a “one-stop” information platform of policy measures.

There are the policy databases of responding to the epidemic situation and supporting SMEs in the governments’major service platforms, where companies can find the relevant supporting policies and measures to solve their problem immediately and conveniently. To respond promptly, Guangdong Province relied on the “Guangdong Business Link” APP and the Guangdong Provincial Government Service Network to provide a quick response for the appeals on employment, financing, taxation, export, and other issues from the enterprises. The platform will promptly distribute the petitions to relevant departments and urge the quick resolution.
