  • Help to Grow: Management is an executive development program accredited by the UK Small Business Charter. The 12-week practical curriculum offers 1:1 business mentor support throughout and includes modules on financial management, strategies for growth and innovation, and approaches to digital adoption. The scheme was announced in 2021’s Budget to help provide small businesses with the necessary skills to innovate, grow and support the economic recovery following the coronavirus pandemic. Help to Grow opened to applications in May this year and will offer 30,000 SMEs across the UK with access to business expertise on topics from financial management to marketing. A total of 30,000 places are available over three years. The program is 90% subsidized by government – costing only £750 to the business. UK businesses from any sector that have been operating for more than one year, with between 5 to 249 employees are eligible to enroll. The participant should be a decision maker or member of the senior management team within the business e.g., a Chief Executive or Finance Director. Help to Grow: Digital is launching this Autumn. It will offer free and impartial advice on how technology can help the medium and small business. There’s also a discount of up to 50% on the costs of approved software, worth up to £5,000.
