• We cordially invite you to attend the online G20 Entrepreneurship Roundtable 2020 on October 22, 2020, with the theme of Policies and Actions to Promote Entrepreneurship in the Post-pandemic Era. This is the fourth one since 2017. It will be hosted by the Entrepreneurship Research Center on G20 Economies, with the support of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China.

In 2020, as the outbreak of COVID-19 triggered the huge turbulence in the global economy and labor market, G20 members have taken various measures to weather the storm. The effective entrepreneurship policies could play a key role in tackling employment challenges and the difficulties of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) caused by the epidemic, so as to achieve the goal of promoting employment through entrepreneurship, sustaining the development of MSMEs, and revitalizing the economy.

The roundtable will gather the representatives from G20 members, international organizations, academic institutions, large enterprises and SMEs, and various entrepreneurs, to jointly discuss the policies and actions that G20 members could take, to promote entrepreneurship in the post epidemic era. We would like to provide effective platform for sharing measures to boost entrepreneurship to promote employment, support growth of the MSMEs, upgrade entrepreneurial skills, and strengthen the sustainable development of entrepreneurship.
